So I may be going a bit crazy on my second day of blogging. But I'm a bit pissed off these days. Good article attached from The Economist. At least the energy bill failed (or as John McCain put it, the "no lobbyist left behind" bill). Ugh. Push seniors into HMOs without covering a large part of initial drug costs (to the tune of $5k) while spending hundreds of billions on drug and insurance companies. AND REPUBLICANS ARE THE PARTY OF SMALL GOVERNMENT AND FISCAL DISCIPLINE??!!! GIVE ME A FREEKIN' BREAK. Someone wake me up and tell me it's a bad dream, please.
