The talk shows this morning were very interesting. It was refreshing to watch Hillary articulate her position on the war -- and explain why she voted for the resolution authorizing war. I guess I don't understand why the demopack doesn't understand the concept -- "we trusted the president and he betrayed our trust". Now, when Newt Gingrich appears on the same program and declares the Iraq policy has gone 'off a cliff', you know something's wrong.

The attached article details how Andy Card, Bush's Chief of Staff, said the fact we had faulty intelligence is a 'moot point'. Holy cow. Also, there is great commentary on talking points memo about James Baker's appointment to clean up Iraq's finances.
