Can't ever seem to get away from it. Not just the stuff I follow, goodness knows that I'm a junkie and raised a bunch of money for Democrats. But office politics, ick! And family politics, ick! Both create paranoia, in my opinion. The sanest thing to do is just keep your head down and not care what others think of you, as long as you're honest and have integrity. But you also don't get all that far, either. So what happens when you reach a place you're happy with? Can you remain out of work politics at that point? What about family politics? I'm pretty happy with where my life is right now, how far can I step out of the b.s. cycles???
