I realize that John McCain sometimes gets confused by economics. But perhaps he also ought to brush up on his geography and realize that Iraq and Pakistan don't share a common border. (via Washington Monthly).
Meanwhile, Obama visited Iraq today, including visits to PM Maliki and U.S. General Petraeus. An interesting op-ed from the Post talks about the impact of this trip, and why its something many of us have been gnashing our teeth about - that the GOP shouldn't have a lock on foreign policy, especially when it's been such a disaster for the last 8 years. I don't know about you, but to me Obama looks like the real deal.
