Interesting article on how the war on terror should be viewed more like the Cold War. She's got a good point - the Cold War was won not with direct military might (although having it helped) but rather the gulf in ideology and quality of life between the two sides was too much for the Eastern Bloc to bear. In this sense, the approach to the war on terror needs to be similar.
